Hotel check-in is at 2:00PM and check-out before 10:00AM.  If you require a late checkout or early check-in, please discuss your requirements with our team either prior to arrival or when checking in. Whilst our team will accommodate wherever possible, please note requests are subject to availability.

Lake Mulwala Boatel’s secure car park is available to access 24/7 with the entrance on Cypress Drive. You will receive your code for the gate on check-in. The carpark has a maximum entrance height of 2.00 metres. There is strictly one car park per room and no trailer parking.

There is no on-site trailer parking at Lake Mulwala Boatel. Trailers can be parked nearby. Please contact us for more information.

Lake Mulwala Boatel has 11 moorings located underneath the accommodation. Please note, not all rooms come with a Mooring. Moorings must be added to your booking and are subject to availability.

Moorings are accessible from the carpark, however boats have to enter the water at the nearby boat ramps, not at the accommodation.

The carpark has a clearance of 2.00 meters. Please note there is no trailer parking at Lake Mulwala Boatel. There is ample trailer parking nearby.

Pool opening hours are 7:00am to 10:00pm.

The pool is reserved exclusively for staying guests. Guests must be in possession of a valid hotel room key and are not permitted to invite non-staying guests into the pool area.

Management reserve the right to refuse entry or remove non-staying guests at any time.

Children under 12 years must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

For the comfort of all guests, gatherings of large groups and parties in the pool area are not permitted. Bad language and antisocial behavior will not be tolerated.

If day beds are left unoccupied for longer than 15 minutes, they may be reallocated by our team.

No glass in the pool area.

No eating or drinking in the pool.

Lake Mulwala Boatel enforces a strict no party policy in all rooms and suites at all times. Room occupancy is limited to two to six adults, depending on the room size. Any group gatherings over this in rooms and public spaces is not allowed.

Lake Mulwala Boatel does not have a lift. You may have multiple flights of stairs to your hotel room. You will be required to carry your own bags to your room.

Lake Mulwala Boatel is 100% smoke-free including but not limited to, rooms, balconies and in all public spaces. It is prohibited to smoke or vape anywhere on premises. It is New South Wales law (Smoke-free Environment Act 2000 and Smoke-fee Environment Regulation 2016) that persons smoking outdoors must be a minimum of four metres from the entrance to the hotel at all times. Failure to comply is an offence and may result in an on the spot fine and cleaning fee. This law also applies to vaping and e-cigarettes.

Yarrawonga Mulwala is located along the Murray River.

To get to the hotel from Melbourne, you can drive approximately 265 kilometres north along the Hume Freeway (M31) and then take the exit towards Benalla and follow signs to Yarrawonga-Mulwala. The journey typically takes about 3 hours by car. Alternatively, you can take a V/Line train from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to Wangaratta, then catch a bus to Mulwala.

From Sydney, the drive is about 610 kilometres southwest, taking around 7 hours. Head southwest on the Hume Highway (M31) towards Albury, then continue through Howlong to Corowa and follow signs to Mulwala. You can also take a train from Sydney to Albury and then a bus to Mulwala for a combination of rail and road travel.
